Matrix Absence Management is one of the top Third Party Administrators (TPA) supporting clients in absence management (FMLA/Disability/Workers' Compensation). We partner with our clients Human Resources department to manage Workers' Compensation, Disability and/or Leave of absences until the claim is resolved or the employee returns to work.  Our highly customer centric approach is to try and duplicate the culture of our clients to make the experience seamless for employees.  Our mobile app technology provides ease of use to our client and employee in reporting claim information.

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing postal related duties, recording, shipping and receiving. Additional responsibilities include collection of records, tracking, assembly, and sorting, scanning and indexing documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a point of contact for all postal transactions including certified mail, express mail and all other postal shipments
  • Process all incoming and outgoing claim correspondence, prepare forms
  • Contacts postage machine vendor to provide supplies, add postage and provide maintenance
  • Receive, index and scan documents to source systems
  • Performs internal collections and deliveries as needed
  • Assists in delivery and collection of files and boxes.
  • Maintain contact with US Postal Service personnel and private mail carriers to ensure proper mail services are provided
  • Check-in visitors
  • Responsible for issuing and tracking visitor and temporary badge
  • Meet with vendors, as needed
  • Assist with special project request
  • Able to lift 50lbs (Mail bins)
  • All other duties & projects, as assigned

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

    • High school diploma required, further education preferred.
    • Must have at least 1-2 years of mailroom experience
    • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook required. NO exceptions.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment required.
